Kia Ora Koutou,
Welcome back to Term 2. I hope that you all had an enjoyable time with your tamariki in the holidays.
We had a great Camp last term and thank you all for your support. The children are working on some follow-up with EMR teachers and developing an Action Plan in response to a marine issue.
As usual we have made a great start to the Term and we are working towards creating wearable arts for the Trash 2 Flash Show on Saturday 25 May at Whangaroa College.
This Term we are training every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings for the Interschool Cross Country event on Friday 21 June, which we host the other schools in our cluster.
Next weekend is a big one for us with the King of the Coast Fishing Competition. Sharon and Cian have been working hard to get this event organised for us. I hope you all have a ticket for this and I will see you down at the Whangaroa Sport Fishing Club for the Weigh-In, Fish Auction, and Prizegiving. All the best for your fishing!!
