Kia Ora Koutou
Congratulations to all of the children with their awesome effort of their Trash 2 Flash Costumes. There was an article in the Northland Advocate yesterday about the Show where many of the children were featured. The organisers of the show were so grateful for our support.
That is another event ticked off the list. This, however, does not mean that we are not busy the rest of the Term. Next week we start the Whitebait Connection Programme which looks at the waterways in our area. The Senior Class will be going on a field triop to Pumanawa Farms in Tauranga Bay on Wednesday 12 June for half a day and both classes will be investigating the stream behind the school.
Kapahaka starts again next week and once again we are lucky to have the wonderful Ruth Heta tutoring the children.
Mid Year Reports and Journals will be sent out near the end of Term with the 3 way Conferences happening in the last week onf Term.
Board of Trustees – As there were only three parent nominations there is no requirement to run elections. Congratulations to
Cian Henwood, Bryan Burkitt, Justin Fitton – Parent representatives and Rhonda Teixira Staff Representative
