Wow it’s August already!

At present the children are working well with Ruth Heta preparing for the Cultural Festival next term.  We are having a poi making workshop next Wednesday – 9.15-10.30am with Ruth and you are all most welcome to join in.

Cross Country training has begun again, just to get those fitness levels up again for the Interschool Cross Country that we host on Friday 30 August.  I will send out parent help lists next week.

We will be having Daffodil Day on Thursday 29 August (due to the Cross Country being on the Friday)  so please send in a gold coin donation and we ask the children to dress in the daffodil colours etc.

At the beginning of the week we planted some more native trees down in the wetland.  Thanks to Ms Smith obtaining some beautiful native trees for us.

Thank you for those families that have sent in the Consultation Questionairre – I now can get on analysing the responses.

The Senior Class have been doing some newspaper report writing – here is Cammy’s about Goldilocks and the Three Bearsl

Girl Vanishes After Break In

This morning in Bear Forest the Bear Family came home to find a little girl, known as Goldilocks Pattache, sleeping in Baby Bear’s bed.

Father Bear says “The so called girl should be arrested for trespassing on our property.”

As the the family left the front door unlocked meant Goldilocks could and did break in.

The girl still hasn’t been found but there have been reports that she is wandering around the forest.
