Kia Ora Koutou
I thought I would hold off with the newsletter until today so that I could include some photos of the great costumes that the children were wearing today. Thanks for your support in getting the children ready and great job for those adults who got in the swing of it too. The children displayed some wonderful work in the Library too about New Zealand books, authors and artworks. Thank you Teachers for organising this. Next week we will have a visit from Trish Puharich who teaches at Riverview School in Kerikeri. She has had some of her writing published in the School Journals.
This week I sent out a notice regarding Camp where I asked for permission and Parent Help. This needs to be back by next Thursday so I can make up a roster of helpers and transport help. I will be sending out food contribution notices next week.
Last year the Government allowed extra Teacher Only Days for schools to use over three years. We will be using one of these next term on Monday 23 November and next year there will be more but I will give you plenty of notice regarding the dates.
