Kia Ora Koutou
Another Term over – this year has really gone fast. I would really like to thank all whanau for the support and understanding during the past term when we have had to follow restrictions due to Covid-19. Thankfully we are back at Alert Level 1 and maybe the holidays look a little more promising now.
A green form for Food Contribution for Camp as been sent out. If you can get it back by tomorrow (Friday) that would be great but if not by the first Monday of Term 4 please.
I sent home a letter at the beginning of the week asking for transport to the Glow Show on the second day back of next Term- please can this also be sent back by tomorrow.
Finally – happy holidays to you all and enjoy your time with your tamariki.

During book week I made a monster called the venus-book-trap. This monster is highly intelligent and can sense any danger nearby. If it bites you, you become obsessed with reading, I mean like you never get your nose out of a book during book week. I also did not 1 but 2 author study,1 about Maurice Gee , another about Stan Lee. Both are magnificent authors, not to mention, executive producers. It was fun studying them. I even read one of Maurice Gee’s books to try and find information about him. I hope book week happens next year.
Today the children watched a video link from one our Duffy Role Models encouraging your students to read and achieve. The children will also be receiving their Duffy books from their last selection they chose. We would like to take this opportunity to also thank our partner – Kerikeri Westpac NZ Ltd for sponsoring us this year. The children love Duffy and being able to choose their very own books out of the preview boxes that are sent to our school.
