Newsletter 4 Term 1 – Thursday 15 April 2021

Kia Ora Koutou

I really cannot believe how fast this term has gone and that it was a year ago we were all at home due to Lockdown.

We have had a jammed packed term and the children have lots of visitors and special things happening.

Next term we start the Free to School Lunch Programme so that means you are all off lunch making duty.  We will have fruit here for morning tea or children can bring their own.

Our learning focus will be continuing with Our Place, Our Identity as there is still much learning here to cover and another area we  will be looking at is watering systems for our School Gardens.  The children will also begin Cross Country Training as we are hoping to host this even at the beginning of July – fingers crossed that the weather plays ball.  The children will need to have appropriate footwear for running – some of course, I know, prefer bare feet.

Lastly I would like to thank you all for your support this Term and wish you all a happy holiday time with your children and we will see you all back on Monday 03 May for Term 2.

Want To Know More About Our Library Web App

If you have a bit of spare time in the holidays then go onto our school website, click on Parent Information, then click on School Library which will take you into our Virtual Library, or alternately you can google – https://nz.accessit.online/TTNS. Once there you can check out what books are available in our school library and also the Senior Children can add books to their Wish List that they would like to read, view their history of what books they have read, as well as a few more things.  There is also Audio Books to listen to, items to read, and everything on the page is safe for your children to use.  More things will be added to this page in the near future. HOW COOL IS THAT!  If you have any questions about our Library Web App please see Sharon.
