Kia Ora Koutou
Well we were very lucky with the beautiful weather yesterday for our Cross Country. Many thanks to the parents of the school that helped – we can’t host things without you – and also thanks to you all for all the lovely baking. It was great having all our local schools back together at an event. Our children did very well and there will be a few of the Senior children going to represent us at the Peria Cross Country which will be held in September. I will be sending out notices to those children later on.
The next event on the calendar is the 3 Way Conferences next Wednesday. A slip is attached with this newsletter informing you of your times. Please make sure that your child’s journal is back at school by then (or bring to the conference)
Next Friday is the last day of Term 2 and it is early finish. We finish at 12.30pm so the first bus (Kaeo) is at 12.40pm and the 2nd bus (Kahoe) is at 1.40pm and pick up time for those who collect their child from school is 1.40pm.
Next terms theme is a Health Focus – Keeping Ourselves Safe with Constable Rob, Healthy teeth and sugar with Helen Foley , safety in the home and on buses. We are also looking at having an Art Exhibition.
Finally I would like to thank you all for your support during the term and wish you all happy holidays.
