Kia Ora Koutou
Well the mornings are getting a little chillier lately letting us know we are on our way to Winter. This brings the usual coughs and splutters among us all and I would like to thank you all for following our protocols of – if your child is feeling unwell or has a cough and sniffles to keep them home. This is much appreciated. Just remember to let us know if they are going to be away – either phone the school and leave a message if no one answers, record an absence through our website or through the app Skool Loop.
Near the end of term we have our 3 Way conferences after we have sent out Mid Year Reports.. For those who are new this is a time where you, your child and teacher spend 15 minutes together reflecting on their learning so far and where to go next. We will be using a new system this year and that is booking your time using the Skool Loop app. I will activate the page in a couple of weeks so you can book your time. I know many of you have got this app on your phone but if you haven’t just go to the play stores applicable to your phone and install the app. We are very lucky that we have sponsors that help out with the service of this app – they pop on the different pages when you are on the app.
On Friday 01 July we will be hosting the Interschool Cross Country and I will be asking for help for on the day and for your lovely home cooking to sell. Watch out for a notice in the next few weeks.
(PS- please excuse the date error on last newsletter- End of Term 2 is Friday 08 July)
