Kia Ora Koutou
Firstly I would like to thank Mandy Harris, Aaron Kilgour, Ulukau Whanau, Hancox Whanau and otherss who constructed our raft for the raft race which unfortunately is cancelled now – we will store it for next year.
We would like to welcome the following new pupils to Totara North School and their whanau – Arlo Ulukau, Millie Frear, Eva Marino and Mahayla Smith.
Monday was a great day at the Whangaroa Schools Swimming Sports. The tamariki were awesome at having a go at all the events. Thanks to the helpers on the day.
On Wednesday you would have received a short notice about some events, and also attached was a return slip that allows your tamariki to listen to the Easter Story, being presented at our school by Janet Fleming and Neville Frear from the Totara North Church on Tuesday 04 April. If this is not returned we will assume that your tamariki will be participating in this.
Yesterday the tamariki went to Maitai Bay as part of the EMR programme and when they returned they were buzzing with stories of what they had seen. Next Wednesday we will have a celebration day regarding what we have learnt. Once again thanks to the helpers that transported and got in the water with them. We cannot do these things without your support.
